~Fall & Winter Training Schedule: Short Course 2025-26~

By clicking on each GROUP NAME, you'll be taken to that group's downloadable Google Calendar.  Calendars are live and will be updated whenever changes occur - if you're unsure if practice is on/off for any reason, these are a reliable place to check first!  

  • DEVELOPMENTAL -> Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday 4:30-5:15pm
    • Season goal: Swim 50 yards each of Freestyle & Backstroke, 25 yards of legal Breaststroke & Butterfly with proper technique for the level; properly perform a Dive.
    • Expectation is 2 time per week

 

  • CUBS -> Monday thru Friday 5:15-6:00pm
    • Season goals: Improve stroke technique in all of the competitive strokes - Swim 100 yards Freestyle, 50 yards Backstroke, Breaststroke, & Butterfly; build fitness level; train with Intervals; use the pace clock efficiently.
    • Expectation is 2-3 time per week

 

  • BRONZE -> Monday thru Friday 4:30-5:15pm
    • Season goals: Improve stroke technique - Swim 200 yards Freestyle, 100 yards Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly, & IM; build fitness level; train with intervals; use the pace clock efficiently; Complete IMR Score.  
    • Expectation is 3-4 time per week

 

  • SILVER -> Monday thru Friday 4:30-5:30pm
    • Season goals: Polish stroke technique - Swim 200 yards Freestyle & IM, 100 yards Backstroke, Breaststroke, & Butterfly; focus on endurance, qualify in at least one individual event for Age Group Champs (10&U) or Regionals (11&12); Complete IMR & IMX Score.  
    • Expectation is 4+ time per week

 

  • GOLD -> Monday thru Friday 5:15-6:45pm & Saturday at 11-12:30pm (*dryland Monday & Wednesday 6:45-7:30pm)
    • Season goals: Focus on long-term swimming improvement; compete in all appropriate meets and Championships (if part of relays); qualify for Age Group State in at least one individual event; qualify for Regionals in multiple events; Achieve IMX score.  
    • Expectation is that swimmers attend all sessions

 

  • SENIOR -> Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday 6:00-7:15pm & Saturday 12:30-2pm (*dryland Tuesday & Thursday 7:15-8:15pm)
    • Season goals: Focus on long-term swimming improvement; qualify for Regionals in at least one individual event. 
    • Expectation is that swimmers attend all sessions

 

  • PLATINUM -> Monday thru Friday 6:45-8:30pm & Saturday at 11-12:30pm (*dryland Tuesday & Thursday 5:30-6:30pm)
    • Season goals: Focus on long-term swimming goals; compete in all appropriate meets and Championships (if part of relays); Final in multiple events at Age Group Champs; earn Senior Champs cuts
    • Expectation is that swimmers attend all sessions

 

  • JUNIOR WILDCAT -> Monday thru Friday 6:45-8:30pm & Saturday at 9:00-11:00am (*dryland Tuesday & Thursday 5:30-6:30pm, and Saturday yoga 8:00-9:00am); Tuesday & Thursday 5:45-7:00am.
    • Season goals: Focus on long-term swimming goals; compete in all appropriate meets and Championships; Final at Senior Champs; make IL Top 20; earn NCSA cuts
    • Expectation is that swimmers attend all sessions

 

  • WILDCAT -> Monday thru Friday 6:45-8:30pm & Saturday at 9:00-11am (*dryland Monday, Wednesday, Friday 5:30-6:30pm and Saturday yoga 8:00-9:00am); Tuesday & Thursday 5:45-7:00am. 
    • Season goals: Focus on long-term swimming goals; Final at Championship meets; prepare for collegiate swimming; qualify for Junior Nationals & above level competitions
    • Expectation is that swimmers attend all sessions

 

*** All changes to the above will be communicated via email, Wildcat Weekly and website ***

Move Ups will be made at Coaches' discretion.  Coaches assess swimmers on a daily basis - should they feel an athlete is ready for a greater challenge, they will move them to the next appropriate level.  Swimmers will "tryout" for a week or so at the higher level and if all (swimmers and coaches) believe this is a good fit, the move will be made permanent.  No additional fees will be assessed to the family if the move is made mid-season.
