2026 Long Course Tryouts

February 23rd & 26th from 4:30-5:30 PM

We will hold tryouts for our 2026 Long Course (Spring / Summer) Season on Monday, February 23rd and Thursday, February 26th from 4:30-5:30 PM.  These assessments will take between 10-15 minutes and will evaluate each swimmers individual skills and their readiness to join our competitive team.

Please register your swimmer(s) for their tryout here: 2026 Long Course Tryouts

What should we expect at our tryout?

For our youngest and newest competitive swimmers, we will be assessing their four competitive strokes (Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Freestyle), their comfort in the water, and their ability to listen / follow directions.  To be considered for our Developmental group, swimmers must be able to complete at least a 25 yard Freestyle with Rotary (side) Breathing and a 25 yard Backstroke.

For our more experienced competitive swimmers, we will be assessing their four competitive strokes, their ability to train on intervals, and reviewing any competitive times they may have.

What should we bring for our tryout?

Swimmers should come prepared with their suit, goggles, cap, and towel.  Should we need kickboards or anything else, we will provide it at the pool.

When will we be notified of our placement with the team?

Prospective families will receive placement information on Friday, February 27th.  Families will have until Friday, March 6th to register.  If we determine your swimmer is not ready for our competitive team at this time, we will do our best to recommend other opportunities for your athlete to continue to develop their skills.

If you are unable to attend these dates or have any other questions, please contact Coach Joey at: [email protected]

Our Long Course Season will run from Monday, April 6th to Thursday, July 9th.
